Pictures Of 02:47
Sunshine Lifts the curtain to Finds its way to you and breaks itself in two Breathe, it’s asunder and we’ll be close behind As holes tear from summer The people had their choosing Now we’re free to lose both our minds Don’t believe the things before you They’re just pictures of Darkness Crawls into our bed Tries to reach my head but falls asleep instead Breathe, it’s asunder and we’ll be close behind As holes tear from summer The people had their choosing Now we’re free to lose both our minds

From the morning light to nightfall Every day now All my words have no meaning yet Twenty years at sea Are you waiting for a sign from me Well, no complaining now Seven signs and a hundred reasons But every day I don’t I will regret I won’t hold it against you I won’t hold it at all Seven signs and a hundred reasons But every day I don’t I still regret Still do yet

Throwing these few shapes Picturing your face Just for the sake of no mistakes Will you be today like all of these ways I bend my hand Memories of man You're a template for my days I wondered how I could see the whole sky from where I stood deep in the wood Sitting on a tree calling back to me how I forgot all I was not I could be happy Oh, I was very in such a haze for all my days In such a haze Forest ablaze In such a haze How can I recall your hair in the fall ripe with the rain A lion's mane I think on two now both old but one how small she made me Now I can see It doesn't matter how I feel after she's still right there bored in her chair I'm not counting all the ways she's a template for my days

Sea Hum 02:38
I won’t tell you my name if you do the same I’m not asking for much but a simple crutch Sea hum Do you wait for me there I’ll ring the moon and pin it to your hair If you remember that you asked me to Sea hum

Such a lovely night to be found in the few trees from which we'd sound all our inhales, exhales now From the river I can see light Are you waiting or is the night just a candle dancing round Lie in the snow Keep your breathing low If you feel the freeze bring yourself to me Can you hear the wind on the leaves If I could I'd fall right asleep but then you would have to too We can both try Let's close our eyes

Singled out in depthless crowds like lanterns in the night In the dark sits a fire burning from the sunlight Put it out, I promise we’ll keep warm Don’t tell anyone I don’t need but I find myself wanting more as the days watch me as they pass In the dark sits a fire burning from the sunlight Put it out, I promise we’ll keep warm I don’t need much as else but one wanting more just from me and she always will In the dark sits a fire burning from the sunlight Put it out, I promise we’ll keep warm So I need but then don’t we all If I was to speak true all I need is you

So looks I've found you out Guess it's not all in my head Films I wrote lying in bed When I asked you to be true was like asking red to be blue To think I thought To see I sought But you're nothing Still I will miss a girl who still calls me by my name Portrait that's lacking a frame When I asked you to be true was like asking red to be blue These summer skies are a hue not doing favors for you

Seems the clocks have stopped Picked me up then dropped Time is on standby Things stuck in the sky Though the day is endless we won't realize how (in my head) Everything is different after what you said If I could please have quiet When the clocks have stopped conversations drop Seems like years have passed since I saw you last

White paper ships What d'you call this feeling in my chest From the open gate I'm not sleeping as of late I don't feel a thing when you start to sing for me When you're honest What d'you call this feeling like the wool's been pulled before

Anew 02:53
I spent all my night waiting but I don’t mind Illusions in my head but they just pass the time And I hope you are miserable tonight So they won’t remember the way that I was with you I can waste a day but too much and I start to think anew And I hope you are miserable tonight

Suite Lime 02:56
When you are found to be reading this letter I'll be so far from where you are Won't you let me go I will keep you in my mind Take these few words as a gift of sympathy I won't let them if you don't want them Won't you let me know if you keep me in your mind For a moment I In fair weather I had seen your face upon her head If I am true, there were moments when I wished that you were her And she was you And now we are here and we're nowhere near the meaning of this She asks for a kiss And she says my name and I know it's not the same but I am taken aback by dirt on her lap I ask her what for She opens the door And she says my name and I am feeling the same so I think

about

Pictures Of is the debut recording by Andy Klingensmith. It was written and recorded in the summer of 2013 sat on an unforgiving folding chair with a mouth full of sunflower seeds in Grosse Pointe Woods. It's about imagined conversations, naivety, and the faces you find in nature.

//

"Andy takes a lighter approach towards ambient chamber pop, with light indie harmonies in the style of The Free Design or The Sea and Cake. A very engaging debut." - PowerPopaholic

"There are only two instruments here — voice and guitar, or rather many “voices,” as each song with lyrics contains cascades of gorgeous, layered harmonies amid perfect guitar playing." - Pop That Goes Crunch!
